In honor of Peace Day, September 21, 2015, Burger King invited McDonald's to team up to create the McWhopper — a burger built for world peace. If they said yes, we’d mark this "burger wars" ceasefire with a one-day pop-up McWhopper shop in Atlanta on Peace Day, halfway between the two headquarters. Following McDonald's decision to decline, five brands came together to create a one-of-a-kind burger. Watch what Burger King, Denny’s, Giraffas, Krystal's and Wayback Burger did to help raise awareness for World Peace Day.
